The Nokia N95 is a smartphone produced by Nokia. It is part of the company's Nseries line of smartphones. The N95's features include standard features of s60 3rd edition platform with feature pack 1. The camera can also be used to record video at 480p30 (640 x 480 at 30 FPS) near DVD quality. The N95 also contains a frontal CIF camera for video calls. On April 24 2007, The N95 won the prestigious 'Best Mobile Imaging Device in Europe 2007' award by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association), the largest photo and imaging press association in Europe. The N95 is a full fledged music player. It supports MP3, WMA, RealAudio, SP-MIDI, AAC+, eAAC+, MIDI, AMR, M4A, True Tones. Its two-way slider, when slid towards the keypad, allows access to its media playback buttons. N93

The Nokia N93 is a smartphone by Nokia especially designed for multimedia use. It was introduced in April 2006 and released in July 2006.The N93 has improved camera capabilities compared with the earlier N90. The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss optics and 3x optical zoom as well as a 30 fps VGA-resolution MPEG-4 video recording capability. It was the most advanced camera phone from Nokia at the time of its release.

N91

The Nokia N91 is a mobile phone that was released to the public in April of 2006. It is part of the Nokia Nseries range of mobile phone. It features a 2-megapixel camera and a 4GB (8GB in the "new" 2006 version) hard disk to store up to 3,000 songs encoded in either AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, mp3PRO, WAV, MIDI, or Microsoft's WMA format. It also features 3G and wi-fi technology. The phone features a 176 x 208 color display and dedicated music functionality buttons (XpressMusic) that slide down to reveal traditional mobile phone keys. Battery life when solely playing music has been estimated at 12 hours. The phone features a new version of the Symbian Series 60 Operating System. It was the first phone with this version (Symbian version 9.1, Series 60 version 3.0). The new version is needed for the support of a mechanical hard disk. In the past, the version of the Symbian operating system has been a good indicator of cpu speed. In the adverts for this phone, it clearly stated that, because of its 3.5 mm plug input, Nokia recommends quality headphones made from Bose and Sennheiser. There have been a few problems with the N91, namely connecting the phone to an Apple Computer Mac OS X compatible computer. This will often cause the phone to crash as the two units are disconnected and music files are often not recognised despite being loaded into the phones hard drive. Also depending upon which firmware you have, when you install a new theme, it will reset itself back to the default theme. This can be fixed though, by updating to the latest firmware which can now be done by the user themself.

N90

The Nokia N90 multimedia is a smartphone with two displays and Carl Zeiss optics (made by Konica Minolta). It has a 2 megapixel built-in digital camera with autofocus, 20x digital zoom, integrated flash, macro mode and the ability to record high quality video (352x288 MPEG-4 video with AAC-LC audio). The phone has no vibration feature. The screen swivels through 270 degrees so that the phone can be handled in a 'video camera' style. The camera lens also swivels to allow shots from unique angles. It uses the Series 60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3 user interface and the Symbian OS 8.1a operating system. Recent revisions also ship with Version 2 of the Lifeblog software. The N90 does not have a built-in hard disk drive like the Nokia N91 but it features 31 MB flash memory and is usually packaged with a 64 MB or 128 MB in-box DV-RS-MMC memory card. Nokia continues its recent tradition of bundling a USB data cable with the phone, previously an aftermarket item priced close to US$40. A 1 GB memory card allows storage of four hours of video on the handset.

N80

The Nokia N80 is a multimedia 3G smartphone made by Nokia with support for high-speed UMTS/WCDMA connections. Features include a 3-megapixel camera with built-in flash (on the back of the device), another camera (on the front) for videoconferencing, Wi-Fi (802.11g), Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), FM radio, Bluetooth 1.2, digital music player functionality, MiniSD memory card slot, and support for 3D Java games. Because of its memory card and relatively large screen, it can function as a portable media player. It uses the third edition of the Series 60 user interface (S60v3) and the Symbian operating system version 9.1. It is not backward compatible with software compiled for earlier versions of the Symbian operating system. The N80 is Nokia's first UPnP-compatible phone, allowing you to transfer media files to compatible devices over Wi-Fi.

N73

The Nokia N73 is a smartphone by Nokia officially described as a "multimedia computer".In common with other Nokia 'N-series' and 'E-Series' phones of its time (late 2006), the N73 comes loaded with many software applications, including contacts, messaging, picture and video galleries, a music player, a Visual FM Radio, RealPlayer, an IM client, a WAP browser, a full web browser based on KHTML/Webkit, a Microsoft Office document viewer, a PDF viewer and some games. The majority of these applications support background execution; for example, one may listen to music whilst browsing the Internet, and then may switch to write a text message or e-mail, without having to close any applications. Non 'smartphones' typically cannot do this or can do it in only a very limited way; for example, only the music player can run in the background. The feature which most distinguishes the N73 from other 'N'- or 'E'-series Nokia mobile phones is the 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera which was the best available at the time of release. The N73 does not support Wi-Fi.In addition to the basic N73, Nokia subsequently released the N73 'Music Edition'. From a hardware perspective, the phone is the same, but the 'multimedia' button on the keypad has been replaced with a button that starts the music player. The Music Edition also includes a 2Gb memory card and the phone is completely black. The Music player on the Music Edition supports Album art and playlists which that on the regular N73 does not. It also has an improved control interface where 'play', 'pause', 'stop', 'next' and 'previous' may all be selected directly by simply pushing the phone joystick in the appropriate direction rather than having to scroll through on-screen buttons for these controls and then select them as on the ordinary N73.

N72

The Nokia N72 is one of Nokia's high-end Nseries mobile phones, it is effectively a re-branded Nokia N70 with a reduced feature set. For an Nseries phone its features are quite limited, as it has only a 2MP camera, and lacks WiFi, 3G, and runs on Symbian 8.1. It does however have Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 via a Pop-Port.The N72 is based upon the N70 and is actually a remake of the N70-5 but was redesigned and is targeted at the mass market just like its prior model the N70-5 by the removal of the 3G hardware, making it much cheaper. However, it retains the same edition of the Symbian OS as the N70, as well as a similar set of features. The Nokia N72 is a feature-rich phone with a 2 megapixel camera, a built-in flash, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, digital music player functionality and support for 3D Java games. It uses the S60 user-interface and the Symbian 8.1a operating system.
